The two-week "Training of Trainers" (TOT) program was designed to inspire artisans to expand their perspective through an exposure to design led approaches to product diversification. Participants also gained an overview of how to apply principles of design using different colours and techniques to enhance their artistic skills. This initiative not only highlights the intricate beauty of the crafts but also aims to elevate its recognition, promoting Jharkhand’s rich cultural heritage.
Shri Jagdish Panchal Hon. the Minister of State (Cooperation, Protocol) Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Khadi and Rural Industries, Government of Gujarat inaugurated an Exhibition cum display of the products developed by the artisans during the 12-day 'Training of trainers' workshop jointly organized by National Institute of Design, India and Jharkhand Silk Textile & Handicraft Development Corporation Limited (Jhar Craft) at NID Ahmedabad Campus.
An Exhibition cum display of the products developed during the workshop was open to public on 5th April 2025 from 10 A M to 7 P M at NID Ahmedabad. There was a sale of the products made by the artisans in Jharkhand.
